Farmville has many animals currently available with new ones added regularly. These are the latest:
• {Jackalope –} This is one of the most popular and valuable animals in the game, though it is not available purchase|to buy]. The Jackalope takes 2 days to harvest and yield Jackalope hair which can be sold for 350 coins each time. This makes it very precious. Many think that only lucky people have a Jackalope, but it's possible for anyone to get one.

• {Buffalo –} Having a buffalo shows you have great power. This makes them popular in Farmville. Every 3 days, the buffalo gives hair that can be sold for 105 coins. The hair also gives 400 XP.
• {Ox –} Ox is the family member of buffalo but it is quite different in the appearance. In Farmville, the ox is a commercial animal. The oxen hair can be sold for a sum of 105 coins and it can be harvested in three days that is similar to that of the buffalo but it is different from buffalo in terms of experience because owning an ox will give you only 300 experience.
• {Deer –} Deer are popular gifts in Farmville and a few people see them as a symbol for sex. Deer were added just before 12/01/2010 to the list of the the game and from then it has been the most popular animal of the gamers. Deer, as the rest of the above, is not available for purchase in market but can be owned by some special trick or task. The Deer yields 105 coins from the Deer hair and its harvest period is two days.
