My Ideal Home
I bet you if you asked group of people what their ideal house would be, most would say a large Edwardian plot surrounded by acres of farmland. My idea of the perfect home is completely different. I'd like a modest sized pad in an inner city location, and I'd be more worried about what I had in the house than what the house itself looked like.
My ideal location would probably be somewhere in southwest London, perhaps in leafy Richmond, there I would have a three or four story semi detached property with enough bedrooms to house my mates when they came to stay. the central hub of the house would be the living room containing multiple large screen TVs and many many games consoles! LCD TVs, numerous laptops, every game console on the market. This way when my friends visited there would be no shortage of electronic entertainment on offer!
The kitchen would be modern, user friendly, but to to big, owing to the fact that my meagre cooking skills dont deserve such vastness. The kitchen would be modern but not too vast, not being a culinary expert I wouldn't need the room anyway. All I'd need would be a oven and a few basic utensils, though an indoor barbeque would be great.
The utility room would contain things like the fridge, dishwasher and washing machines, all standard household equipment that I don't particularly have a burning passion for but nevertheless need! This would also be the room where I threw all my dirty clothes while they were waiting to go in the wash!
Ideally each room would have a different theme, I particularly like the wood effect at the moment so one of the room would no doubt be clad out like a Swiss ski lodge, complete with a crackling fire in the corner!
